Larry Gomez serves as President and CEO of TelResource, Inc., and is the incoming 2026 Chairman of the South Texas Business Partnership. A proud native of McAllen, Texas, Larry’s leadership journey reflects perseverance, service, and an unwavering commitment to people and community. After graduating from McAllen Memorial High School, Larry served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1985 to 1989—an experience that helped shape his character, discipline, and leadership philosophy. 

Larry joined TelResource in 1999, beginning his career in a data entry role. When asked about his goals during his interview, he famously pointed to the CEO’s chair and said, “One day, I’d like to sit in that chair.” Through dedication, hard work, and a steep learning curve, Larry steadily advanced through the organization, ultimately achieving that goal. Today, he leads TelResource as a respected veteran-owned business, recognized nationally for excellence in telecommunications consulting and business expense management. His leadership has earned numerous honors, including San Antonio Business Journal’s Top 25 Veteran-Owned Businesses since 2015 and Best of San Antonio: Business Hall of Fame recognition for 12 consecutive years. 

A firm believer that success is measured by the strength of one’s team, Larry considers his greatest accomplishment to be building a group of professionals who are deeply invested in their clients, dedicated to one another, and passionate about their work. His civic involvement reflects the same values, including service as a Board Member of the South Texas Business Partnership since 2021, Co-Founder and Board Member of the Lt. Col. R.H. Moore Scholarship Foundation, and an Advisor Board Member with Telesystem. 

Above all, Larry is a devoted family man. He has been married to his wife, Rose, for 30 years and is a proud father to Larry Gomez Jr., Sofia, and Miranda, and a joyful grandfather to Jeremiah Gonzalez and Lauro Gomez III. In his spare time, Larry enjoys family gatherings and perfecting his famous baby back ribs—always believing that the best connections, in business and in life, are built around trust, service, and shared purpose.
