Delilah Marquez
Palo Alto College
Trained as a non-profit practitioner with degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Delilah is a champion of advocacy for students and serving the community at large. Her 25+ years of experience in grant compliance and supportive programming serving diverse populations powers her desire to advocate a culture of collaboration, engagement, and inclusion that promotes equity and access for all.
In her seven years at PAC, she has worked collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and navigated the PAC Advocacy Center through Title V funds that helped to support advocacy in higher education and non-academic services to support student success. She is proud to serve as a member of PAC LeadHERS, the PAC_MaSSTR Program, and United Way of San Antonio, Women United. She is also honored to have represented PAC as the Associate Vice President of Conference Sponsorship with the Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institution Educators (AHSIE). This national platform affords opportunities to share best practices, engagement, and professional learning in institutions of higher learning to ensure students thrive academically, professionally and personally.
She is a first-generation student and a product of Palo Alto College. Her aspiration is to contribute the same opportunities forward and for others to be their “Best Self.”
