Cayethania Castillo

San Antonio River Authority

Cayethania “Caye” Castillo is a public service professional with experience spanning government affairs, legislative operations, and communications at the local, state, and federal levels. She currently serves as a Government Affairs Specialist at the San Antonio River Authority, where she supports intergovernmental relations and public policy initiatives. Since joining the organization in 2022, she has also held the role of Government Affairs Coordinator, contributing to advocacy efforts and stakeholder engagement across the region.

Prior to her work at the River Authority, Cayethania worked for the Texas House of Representatives, where she served as Deputy Communications Director and Scheduler, as well as Scheduler and Constituent Services Representative. In these roles, she managed legislative scheduling, coordinated communications, and supported constituent services. Earlier in her career, she gained federal-level experience as a Congressional Intern with the U.S. House of Representatives.

Cayethania earned her Master of Public Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio, where she deepened her commitment to public service and built lasting professional connections. She also holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Political Science from UTSA and was an active member of the university’s Women’s Rugby Club.
