Roberto C. Mendez Jr., “Bobby” is a San Antonio–based entrepreneur, financial professional, and community advocate with deep roots on the city’s South Side. He has worked in the mortgage industry since 2004 and has provided tax preparation and advisory services since 2009, supporting individuals, families, and small business owners with practical, relationship-driven guidance.

Roberto currently serves on several boards and committees, including SABEDA, South Texas Business Partnership, Legacy Foundation, and Friends of Harlandale, where he advocates for economic development, education, and community investment. A graduate of Leadership San Antonio, Class 44 (2019), Roberto has also served in civic leadership roles as campaign treasurer for District 1 Councilwoman Dr. Sukh Kaur and currently for Texas State House candidate Desi Martinez. In 2023, he was inducted into the Harlandale ISD Hall of Fame, recognizing his long-standing commitment to the community.
