Ben Reed

City of Kenedy Economic Development Council

Ben Reed serves as the Manager of the Kenedy Economic Development Corporation
(KEDC), where he plays a key role in supporting businesses looking to launch, expand, or
relocate to Kenedy, Texas. KEDC is a Type 4B economic development corporation
dedicated to strengthening the local economy and expanding the city’s tax base through
strategic business attraction, real estate development, and community promotion. In his
role, Ben works closely with stakeholders to advance economic initiatives that enhance
Kenedy’s growth and long-term vitality.

KEDC holds regular public meetings at the Ruhman
C. Franklin Municipal Building, located at 303 West Main Street in Kenedy, providing
opportunities for community members to engage and learn more about ongoing projects
and initiatives.
